We are currently seeking two skilled and reliable Equipment Development Technicians – Spray Foam Systems to join our team.
Job Duties:
- Assist in the assembly, integration and configuration of custom spray foam rig systems, including proportioners, pumps, tanks and hoses
- Support the preparation of layout plans, technical specifications and system configurations for rig builds
- Conduct mechanical testing, calibration and performance checks to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency
- Inspect completed systems to verify proper alignment, functionality and compliance with safety and operational standards
- Participate in the installation, repair and maintenance of spray foam equipment and mechanical components
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and fluid-based systems and support repair and maintenance activities
- Document system configurations, testing results and maintenance activities
- Participate in equipment optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of a one- or two-year college program in mechanical engineering technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical system installation, equipment integration or industrial equipment servicing
- Experience working with mechanical, hydraulic or fluid-based systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and layouts
- Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and manual dexterity
- Ability to use hand and power tools, lift components, and stand, bend or kneel as required
- Knowledge of spray foam equipment or similar systems is an asset
- Certification in a related technical field is an asset
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required
