We are seeking a reliable, caring, and attentive Nanny to support our family by providing nurturing care for our three young children, aged 1, 2, and 4. The successful candidate will help create a safe, structured, and stimulating home environment while supporting the children’s daily routines, early learning, and developmental needs.
The nanny will ensure the children’s safety and well-being at all times, engage them in age-appropriate activities, and assist with their daily care in a warm and supportive manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide care, supervision, and companionship for the children in the employer’s home.
- Ensure the children’s safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist with daily routines, including feeding, dressing, diaper changing, toilet training (following parents’ guidance), and nap times.
- Prepare bottles, infant formula, and nutritious meals or snacks for the children.
- Support good hygiene habits, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Engage the children in age-appropriate activities, play, and outings that support their development.
- Help maintain consistent routines, including playtime and rest periods.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying play areas and cleaning bottles or utensils.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home and keep parents informed about the children’s daily activities and well-being.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Minimum 7 months of experience caring for children in a private household, daycare, or similar childcare setting, or completion of a child care training program, is required.
- Basic knowledge of child safety, child development, hygiene, feeding routines, and age-appropriate activities is required.
- CPR, First Aid, child care training, or early childhood education courses are considered assets.
- On-the-job orientation will be provided regarding household routines, parenting preferences, and child safety procedures.
- Ability to provide a caring, patient, and supportive environment for young children.
- Strong reliability, responsibility, and organizational skills.
- Physically able to lift, carry, and actively supervise young children as needed.
- Flexible availability, including evenings or weekends if required.
