Paloma Innovative Solutions is a trusted demolition and exterior services company proudly serving the entire GTA. We specialize in exterior demolition, surface preparation, scraping, sanding, and painting.
We are looking for skilled Carpenter to support our renovation and restoration projects.
Job duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and exterior restoration plans
- Perform structural framing and reconstruction work following demolition activities
- Repair and replace damaged exterior wood structures, framing, and load-bearing supports
- Install sheathing, exterior trim, door and window framing components
- Construct and dismantle formwork and temporary structural supports as required
- Prepare structures for siding, insulation, cladding, and surface finishing applications
- Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Building Code and workplace safety regulations
- Work at heights and in varying outdoor weather conditions
- Coordinate with drywall installers, painters, and surface preparation teams to ensure timely project completion
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience.
- Trade certification in carpentry is considered an asset.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as required.
- Physically capable of performing demanding tasks in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
- Comfortable and able to work at heights when required.
