We are looking for an experienced Electrical Mechanic to join our team.
Job Duties:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to test and inspect electrical, electronic, and mechanical components using testing and measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing operations.
- Inspect, repair, replace, or recondition shafts, bearings, and related components of industrial production equipment.
- Install, maintain, and repair coils and electrical components for electric motors and industrial machinery.
- Perform welding, brazing, or soldering of electrical connections and components as required.
- Test and repair faulty wiring, switchgear, and electrical components used in production equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing of emission control systems and exhaust components.
- Assist with troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of industrial machinery and production equipment to minimize operational downtime.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Relevant technical or vocational training in a related field is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2–3 years of related industrial maintenance or electro-mechanical experience.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, and handling industrial equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience repairing electric motors, switchgear, generators, and industrial production equipment.
- Experience using electrical testing and measuring instruments.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends, as required.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and industrial conditions.
