We are seeking a Disaster Restoration Technician to join our team.
Job duties:
- Assist skilled tradespersons in residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects
- Load, unload and transport construction materials and tools to worksites
- Remove damaged drywall, flooring, insulation and other building materials during demolition and renovation activities
- Perform demolition and site preparation work under supervision
- Operate basic hand and power tools used in construction and rebuilding tasks
- Clean and prepare construction sites before and after project activities
- Sort, remove and dispose of construction debris and rubble
- Erect and dismantle temporary barriers, scaffolding and protective structures as required
- Follow all occupational health and safety regulations at job sites
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction, renovation, demolition, or restoration work
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing demanding manual tasks
- Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor construction environments
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as required
- Strong teamwork skills and capacity to follow instructions effectively
