We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Roofer to join our team.
Job Duties:
- Install, repair, and replace asphalt shingle roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings
- Inspect roofing systems to identify leaks, damage, and structural deficiencies
- Install flashing, ventilation systems, skylights, and drainage components
- Apply waterproofing materials, sealants, and protective coatings
- Measure, cut, and fit roofing materials according to specifications
- Perform advanced repairs, including leak detection and reinforcement of damaged areas
- Ensure compliance with building codes, manufacturer standards, and safety regulations
- Follow fall protection procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Operate and maintain roofing tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in guiding junior workers and helpers on proper roofing techniques and safety practices
Skills Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of roofing experience, with strong asphalt shingle expertise
- Ability to work independently on installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Knowledge of roofing systems, waterproofing, and ventilation
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications
- Strong understanding of safety practices
- Physically capable of working at heights in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required based on project needs.
- Trade certification is an asset
