It specializes in crafting deli meats and sausages in the European tradition, using time-tested recipes and only the finest ingredients, while combining those legacy practices with modern processing standards.
Currently, we are looking for an Industrial Meat Cutter to join our team.
Main duties:
- Cut and trim pork and beef products using hand knives and mechanical cutting equipment.
- Debone meat and remove excess fat, cartilage, and connective tissue.
- Portion and prepare meat products in accordance with production specifications.
- Maintain product quality standards and reduce waste during processing.
- Comply with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and CFIA regulations.
- Operate cutting tools and equipment, including band saws and trimming machinery.
- Handle and store meat products properly in refrigerated conditions.
- Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and work areas to maintain hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- Secondary school completion preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience as an industrial meat cutter or industrial butcher in a processing plant.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated, fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
